Once you've done it, you can't go back. This is a guide to features and events which cannot be undone in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition (FFCC). Learn about all the aspects of the game for which no do-overs are allowed.

Cannot change your player's Race

Once you have chosen the Race for your character, it can never be changed. It's possible to create multiple characters on the same file if you want to try out each Race, but you'll need to progress from the beginning of the game with each, so choose carefully for your main character.

Cannot change the name of your Town

Although the starting town's default name is Tipa, any name can be chosen by the player at the start of the game. Choose a name from your favorite Final Fantasy game!

Cannot change your Family Job

The Job, or Trade, of your Family cannot be changed once it has been selected. There are eight Jobs to choose from, some of which have clear advantages over others. Be sure to choose the one that will best benefit your character in the long run.

Some Artifacts are time-limited (Original Version)

In the original game, during your journey, as you advanced through the years, some Artifacts would become inaccessible to the player. Some Artifacts could only be found in Cycle 1 or 2 of a given Dungeon, and once the player reached Cycle 3, it would become unobtainable forever.

However, in the Remaster, it's been confirmed that these Artifacts are obtainable in Cycle 3 of appearing Dungeons as well, in order to prevent them from becoming permanently inaccessible.

    • Hello! A question regarding Bonus Points and Boss sets:
      If I go to Tida on Cycle 3 in a Solo playthrough, do I need to reach the bonus points listed for 1P on the lists here to qualify for Set 8 to possibly drop?
      I'm currently trying to farm for better gear and need the scroll for a Selkie acc, which Armstrong drops in set 8, but havent fully grasp the system behind Bonus Points and Set chances yet.
