While ice resistance is nice to have, we highly recommend investing in Curse resistance instead for this fight. Magia will be using a lot of holy and curse and Holy's damage alone can remove a lot of the whole party's HP. If you add curse to the mix, it becomes a team wipe attack so resisting curse is the first step to ensure an easier fight againt Jack Moschet.

The Dinner Party Walkthrough

A Dungeon centered on the Boss fight

The Dinner Party 2.jpeg
Compared to the original Moschet Manor, the number of rooms accessible from the central plaza has been significantly reduced in The Dinner Party. Only the room directly to the right of the entrance is available. Once you enter the room, you will immediately start the boss fight, so there's almost no Dungeon to be had aside from the fight.

Blizzard Resistance is Important

The Dinner Party 3.jpeg
Both Gigas Lord and his wife Maggie will use Ice-type Spells throughout the fight, so resistance to Blizzard will take a heavy load off your back. And while there's little chance of being overwhelmed simply by the numbers, you might get unlucky and end up totally surrounded by Tonberry Chefs.

Also, having resistance to Curse will help you survive through the battle without any unpleasant surprises.

Yes, just keep hitting her until she says about doing her make up. She doesn't drop anything else after that.

In this version of the dungeon, you can attack Maggie until she drops items to try to make you go away.
