High Strength and Defense allow it to break through with hard hits

Lilties are a class exceeding in the physical department, with both high Strength and Defense stats. Their magical abilities are barebones, but their physical prowess is enough to make up for it. In particular, the Focus Attack on their ultimate weapon, Bladestorm, is extremely powerful.

In a word, the “meathead” class.

How to Use Lilties

Avoid Magic attacks

Lilties are almost useless when it comes to Magic. Their cast time is long and their range is extremely limited, leaving very few situations where it is preferable to use Magic over a Focus Attack or standard attack.

Use Magic Strikes in single-player mode

In single-player mode, players can combine their Weapon with Magicite to use Magic Strikes. Flamestrike and Icestrike have the effect of lowering the enemy's defense, making them especially useful.

The higher the Affinity Value, the greater the effect will be. Eating a food with a higher Affinity Value will heal a higher amount of HP and provide a boost to stats, while eating a food with a low value with heal less HP and inflict a statistical penalty.

Remastered Version

Longinus used together with the Dragon Heart is still the strongest pair in the game due to the power of Bladestorm, its Focus Attack. Weapons with equivalent power exist in Post-Game Dungeons, but their Focus Attacks still cannot beat the best weapon from the original game.

A new pair of Gloves, Glorious Gloves, boost the range of Lilties' Focus Attacks. Although it takes a Defense hit, this will allow Lilties to attack enemies which cannot yet target them, providing much more safety overall.

The Items below are based on the original game. The remaster includes superior items available in post-game Dungeons and paid DLC.

DLC Exclusive

The DLC weapons focus attacks aren't quite as strong as the Longinus' so they won't exactly dethrone it, but with 40 strength, and the potential to play from the first dungeon with an endgame-level weapon, they're nothing to scoff at.
