Parry Fusion Attacks

During certain points in the fight, especially in the beginning, Ye Shiyuan and its Ethereal called Sobek will fly off the field and around it to do a joint attack against you. Though these Fusion Attacks may vary, some of them will be perfectly parryable.

Doing so will put the pair in a special weakened state for a certain duration, allowing you to follow up with your own attacks! Hence, when fighting Ye Shiyuan the Thrall, make it a point to bring along Agents that can initiate Defensive Assists!

Parry Sobek's Attacks

Parry Sobek

At some point in the battle, Ye Shiyuan will deploy Sobek and retreat from the battlefield. A certain portion of the DMG Sobek takes will still be transferred to the Thrall, so you needn't worry. However, in order to force him back out, you'll need to defeat Sobek.

The most effective way to do that is by parrying its attacks and delivering your own. Doing so will restore 5 Energy to your active character, leading to more attacks and DMG. Do take note that Sobek is immune to being stunned or Attribute Anomalies.
