Complete New Helpers
The Weight of the Self-Bound is unlocked by completing New Helpers, a subquest of the main story, Memories of Dreams Bygone.

The Weight of the Self-Bound Guide
- Go to sleep
- Talk to Lucia
- Enter the Safe House and Find Yidhari
- Go to the Town to find Yidhari
- Talk to the Lantern Bearer
- Head to the Auditorium
- Enter the Secret Door
- Head outside the Town
- Repel the Townspeople
- Leave the Town
Go to sleep
After the long day, head back to your room in Suibian Temple and get some rest to prepare for the next investigation.
Talk to Lucia
Read Lucia's DM in Knock Knock and meet the team near the Suibian Temple entrance. Once you're all set, talk to Lucia and head out to the Lemnian Hollow again.
Enter the Safe House and Find Yidhari
Once you're in the Timesworn Hills, go back to the Safe House, and Yidhari is missing. You'll need her to test the Lumin-Boxes.
Go to the Town to find Yidhari
Since the team is searching for Yidhari, you should return to the town and look for Yidhari.
Talk to the Lantern Bearer
Approach the Lantern Bearer while she speaks with Banyue and Lucia. Inquire about Yidhari's whereabouts, which will lead you to investigate the Auditorium again.
Head to the Auditorium
Head to the Auditorium and talk to Pal, who expresses a desire to return to Failume Heights. He will also mention that Moss is out scouting, so you can take a look inside the Auditorium.
As you enter, you'll find Yidhari using her powers and urging you to stay back. Continue walking forward until you reach her, at which point a cutscene will play. During this scene, she will express her desire to leave and sleep, but you must awaken her.
Enter the Secret Door
After the cutscene with Yidhari, you can investigate the Auditorium. Go to the left corner and enter the Secret Door to uncover the truth behind the town.
Talk to Yidhari to ask about the giant cocoon-like miasma plants inside the Secret Door. Moss will appear, which starts a dialogue cutscene as he reveals the Cradle and the truth about the cocoons.
Head outside the Town
Go outside of the town and bring back the latest news about the mysterious cocoons! You will be greeted by the townspeople after leaving the Auditorium.
Repel the Townspeople
You need to defeat the Townspeople blocking your way out of the Town. You will have Manato, Yidhari, and Lucia on your team.
Leave the Town
After defeating the enemies, you will spot Manato's drowned ideal, and he is waiting for your team at the exit. Another cutscene will play as Banyue faces off against the other Manato.
