- Place Rapid Bangboo (Devilboo) on the bottom right position in the central area.
- Tyrfing will spawn and place Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) in the bottom left corner.
- Acquire Brave Bangboo (Excaliboo) and place it at the top right corner, then remove it immediately after eliminating the two nearby enemies.
- Upgrade your Exploreboo then place a Rapid Bangboo (Snap) in the upper left corner of the central area.
- Acquire a second Exploreboo and place it in the upper left area, right above your first one. Upgrade it right away.
- Place Excaliboo below the Devilboo, and a Kind Bangboo (Avocaboo) above it.
- Put a Brave Bangboo (Mercury) above the Avocaboo then wait for the Rampant Brute to approach.
- Acquire a Brave Bangboo (Paperboo) and place it on the square above Snapboo.
The biggest threat in this stage is the Rampant Brute. It does not move very fast but can hit hard and is quite tanky.
Rampant Brute can eliminate Bangboo in one or two attacks, so be ready to spawn additional units in its path on the fly. Using Brave Bangboo (Paperboo) is the most effective at hindering the Rampant Brute's progress.

- Place Rapid Bangboo (Devilboo) first on the bottom right position in the central area.
- Put a Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) at the upper left, and upgrade it as the Tyrfings start spawning in.
- Acquire a Brave Bangboo (Excaliboo) and place it in the top lane above Devilboo's position.
- Get a Kind Bangboo (Avocaboo) and place it in the upper left corner of the central area. Then, take a Brave Bangboo (Mercury) and place it right below Devilboo before the next wave of enemies comes in.
- Upgrade your Excaliboo and Avocaboo, then grab a second Devilboo and place it above the first one.
- Acquire another Exploreboo and place it in the lower left corner.
This stage is fairly straightforward, just be sure to upgrade your units as soon as you can. This will make it easier to deal with the larger waves and Dullahans in the later portions of the stage.

- Place Brave Bangboo (Excaliboo) on the 2nd Photosynthetic Charger tile on the upper row.
- Place Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) on the Controller tile on the bottom-left corner. Upgrade it as soon as you get the chance.
- Place Rapid Bangboo (Snap) on the Controller tile just northeast of the Exploreboo you previously deployed. Upgrade it as soon as you get the chance.
- Place another Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) on the Controller tile just to the right of Snap unit you previously deployed. Upgrade it as soon as you get the chance.
- Place Brave Bangboo (Mercury) at the 1st Photosynthetic Charger right next to the Excaliboo.
- Place Brave Bangboo (Paperboo) right above the Mercury you previously deployed.
- Place another Brave Bangboo (Excaliboo) in between the Exploreboo and Snap at the bottom row.
- Place another Brave Bangboo (Mercury) right above the first Excaliboo.
Ethereals will swarm the upper route in huge waves. It would be wise to give it the most units to fully block off these waves of Ethereals and decimate them as quickly as possible.
With Excaliboo now unlocked, this should be no problem as it can strike in an AoE and deal massive amounts of DMG.

- Place Brave Bangboo (Mercury) on the Photosynthetic Charger tile on the upper row, right in front of the upper starting point.
- Place Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) on the bottom center tile. Upgrade it as soon as you get the chance.
- Place Kind Bangboo (Avocaboo) on the Controller tile on the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Place another Brave Bangboo (Mercury) at the Photosynthetic Charger right above the first one. Can be replaced with Paperboo.
- Place another Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) on the left tile of the central 2-tile area. Upgrade it as soon as you get the chance.
- Place Rapid Bangboo (Snap) on the Controller tile right by the lower starting point. Upgrade it as soon as you get the chance.
- Place another Rapid Bangboo (Snap) on the tile by the upper starting point adjacent to the Mercury units.
Though the upper row will send out Ethereals first, always be sure to keep an eye on the bottom row as the Ahrimans will take that route. Thankfully, no bushes are in place and your Rapid Bangboo will be more than sufficient.

- Place another Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) on the bottom left tile for additional resources.
- Place another Brave Bangboo (Mercury) at the Photosynthetic Charger tile on the bottom row to the right.
- Place Rapid Bangboo (Snap) on the lower right tile of the central 4-tile area.
- Place Kind Bangboo (Avcoaboo) on the lower tile of rightmost 2-tile area, in range of all Bangboo units. Spend all remaining resources on upgrades.
You can replace Mercury for Paperboo for a much beefier option, enabling you to block enemy advances longer. The downside to this is that Paperboo won't attack nearby units unless upgraded.
Because of this, it would be wise to upgrade your Exploreboo units first to ensure that your Paperboo can contribute to the team's overall DMG.

- Place Rapid Bangboo (Plugboo) on the lower right tile of the central 4-tile area.
- Place another Kind Bangboo (Avcoaboo) on the lower tile of rightmost 2-tile area, in range of all Bangboo units.
- Place Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) on the bottom left tile for additional resources. Spend remaining resources to upgrade all Bangboo.
Upon placing all of the Bangboo, be sure to upgrade them all to ensure that no Ethereals make it to the other side. Prioritize acquiring resources via Exploreboo, then placing your offensive units, then Avocaboo for support.
