A Mermaid Dream unlocks after completing the Summer Night's Counterattack, which is also an event quest of the Tales of Midsummer Dreams event!

A Mermaid Dream (I) Guide
- Talk to Alice and Yuzuha at the Visitor Center
- Find Yuzuha at the Aquarium
- Chill with Yuzuha on the Beach
- Complete Yuzuha's Shooting Challenge
- Talk to Manato Who's Setting Up the TV
Talk to Alice and Yuzuha at the Visitor Center
Talk to Alice and Yuzuha at the reception of Fantasy Resort. Yuzuha shares her experience with a mysterious mermaid, and Alice is convinced that Yuzuha is playing tricks with her again.
Find Yuzuha at the Aquarium
After the cutscene, head to the aquarium and speak with Yuzuha to offer comfort and support.
Chill with Yuzuha on the Beach
Hang out with Yuzuha at the beach front and accompany her in the shooting challenge to earn a videotape reward.
Complete Yuzuha's Shooting Challenge
Similar to the Archipelago Shoot event, play as Yuzuha as she shoots target drones and clears the challenge.
Talk to Manato Who's Setting Up the TV
After completing the shooting challenge and winning the mysterious videotape, head over to Manato to set up the TV. The mysterious mermaid will appear, and Yuzuha is familiar with it.
The team proceeds with investigating the origin of the mermaid videotape.

Talk to Ahab about the Mermaid
Confront Ahab where he got the mermaid videotape and ask what he knows about the mermaid sighting.
Promote Archipelago Shoot to Visitors
After speaking with Mia's grandfather, you must promote their booth by approaching the visitors.
Play Archipelago Shoot with Yuzuha
To show off the Archipelago Shoot activities to the tourists, join Yuzuha as she plays the shooting challenge.
Talk to Empy About the Mermaid Sighting
Grandpa Ahab said Empy can accompany the team to the deep-sea fishing area to go mermaid sightseeing.
Go Fishing with Yuzuha
During the trip, you must catch 2 fish with Yuzuha until a cutscene plays where a mysterious tail appears.

Ask Empy to Sail Out and Search for Mermaids
After learning the truth behind Grandpa Ahab's story about the mermaids, he finally tells the team the exact location of the mermaid. Interact with Empy to take you there using the fishing boat.
Solve the Ether Tuning
You need to help Empy fix an Ether Tuning puzzle before sailing out of the boat with everyone.
To solve the puzzle, you need to place the A button on the left, the B button on the bottom, the C button on the right, and then the D button on the top.
Talk to Yuzuha Before Heading Out to Sea
After fixing the boat, speak to Yuzuha, who is standing in front of the sea, as she has something on her mind.
Witness the Mermaid
A lengthy cutscene will play as Proxy, Yuzuha, Alice, and Manato reach the mermaid location. The team witnesses the legendary mermaid.
Head to the Shooting Booth to Thank Ahab
After the cutscene, you will be back at the beach front, then head over to Grandpa Ahab at the shooting booth to thank him.
Find Yuzuha at the Aquarium
Go to the Aquarium to find Yuzuha reflecting on the recent mermaid adventure. Talk to her about her thoughts, and this completes this commission, along with an achievement.
