The Windrider, Wavebreaker unlocks after completing the Uninvited Guest, which is also an event quest of the Tales of Midsummer Dreams event!

- Brief Alice and Yuzuha on the Situation
Ask Manato About Alice and Yuzuha's Whereabouts
Ask Manato at the balcony near the beach front of Fantasy Resort about Alice and Yuzuha's whereabouts. He will say that they are hanging around near the shore.
Go Say Hi to Yuzuha
Go to Yuzuha near the shore of the beach, and you'll find her talking to Manato.
Complete Alice's Surfing Challenge
Similar to the Blazing Waves event, maneuver Alice through the waves and reach the finish line within the time limit.
Go Say Hi to the Film Crew by the Beach
After doing the surfing challenge, a film crew notices Alice's potential. So, they invited her for a quick video shoot.
Complete the Surfing Performance
Successfully having a conversation with the whole film crew, Alice takes on a surfing performance to impress the director even more. The surfing challenge will also be similar to the challenges in the Blazing Waves event.
Brief Alice and Yuzuha on the Situation
With the surfing performance out of the way, you tell Alice and Yuzuha about the results.

Talk to Yuzuha About Her Plan to Help Alice
Upon giving the news to Alice, Yuzuha comes up with a plan to help her best friend out. You can find her talking to Manato near the reception of the Fantasy Resort.
Ask Lucy for Help
With Yuzuha running out of ideas, you go to Lucy near the shore, beside the blue boat, and ask her for help. Lucy is a former classmate of Alice's, so it might be a good idea to ask her what Alice likes.
Solve Ether Tuning Puzzle
Before Lucy can help you with Alice, you need to help her fix an Ether Tuning puzzle that has been bothering her.
To solve the puzzle, you need to place the A button on the upper left, the B button on the lower left, the C button below the 2 button, the D button on the lower right, and the E button on the upper right.
Head to the Surf Spot with Alice
After getting motivation from Lucy, you head to the surfing spot with Alice to try surfing again. This challenge is similar to the Blazing Waves event. A cutscene will occur after completing the surfing challenge

Talk to Yuzuha on the Beach
Talk to Yuzuha on the beach of Fantasy Resort. She can be seen talking to Manato under an orange umbrella.
Glean What People Think From the Crowd
Talk to the Surf Enthusiast and Buchannon, Conspiracy Theory and Gossip Enthusiast, and Confused and Impatient Viewer to get their opinion on how Alice performed in the surfing challenge.
Discuss Solutions with Yuzuha and Manato
After gathering information with everyone on the beach, you report back to Yuzuha and Manato. The three of you discuss possible solutions for Alice.
Find Alice, Who Is Talking With the Film Crew
Talk to Alice near the shore, and can be seen with Yuzuha and Lucy talking to the film crew.
Witness Alice's Surfing Challenge
Once more, complete Alice's last surfing challenge for the film crew. This is similar to the challenges in Blazing Waves event. Afterward, a lengthy cutscene with the film crew will occur.
Meet Everyone at the Drinks Bar
After the cutscenes, you will be teleported to the drinks bar where you will talk to Alice and Lucy. They will both give their thanks to you for helping them.
Head to the Bar to Celebrate Together
Head up to the drinks bar and celebrate with everyone! Alice, Yuzuha, and Manato can all be seen celebrating here.
Find Alice at the Shore
After the party, talk to Alice near the shore. She can be seen just below the bar, sitting on a wooden chair under a palm tree. Talking ot her will conclude the special story quest!
