The Death Perception is purchasable from the Death Perception Perk Machine for 2,000 Essence. These Perk Machines are marked by these shield-shaped icons on the Tac Map. However, their locations vary, as they are randomly chosen from a pool of Perk Machine spots in each match.
You can craft a Death Perception Can if you have its crafting schematics. Go to your loadout menu and hover to your backpack and select Add Item, then go to Schematic Crafting to find the Death Perception Can under Perk-a-Colas.
Do note that there is a cooldown upon crafting, however the upside for this is that they are free to craft and have no additional cost.
How to Get All Crafting Schematics
Completing a contract can give you a Death Perception Can or a Death Perception Schematic as rewards from the reward rift. The rewards for these are random, so you're not always guaranteed that you will get a can or a schematic each time you finish a contract.
The Death Perception can be found randomly inside Loot Caches. It is extremely rare to find, and it can be difficult to locate one using this method. However, you will be able to save 2,000 Essence compared to buying it from the Perk Machine.
Using the Death Perception Soda will instantly allow you to see enemies, chests, resources, and item drops through walls. They will appear as a colored outline, making them easy to spot.
Knowing exactly where enemies are behind walls will make it easier to camp them when they head towards you into view. Otherwise, you can throw grenades at them more accurately since you're aware of their positions.
