How to Equip Trigger Actions

Unlock the Trigger Action Slot for Your Handgun

Before you can equip a Trigger Action attachment for your handgun in MW3, you will first need to unlock its Trigger Actions Slot. To unlock this attachment slot, you will need to earn Weapon XP for your chosen gun by using it in MW3 multiplayer matches, Zombies, or Warzone.

Equip a Trigger Action via the Gunsmith

Once you have both the Trigger Action Slot and a compatible Trigger Action unlocked for your handgun, you can customize your weapon and add the Trigger Action via the Gunsmith.

What are Trigger Actions?

Modifies the Fire Rate of Handguns

Trigger Action attachments are primarily for handgun secondaries in the game. When equipped, the will usually modify your handgun's firing rate at the cost of shot accuracy.
