Horde Hunt Event Start Date and Features

Horde Hunt is a new event that has you hunt featured Zombies in a bid to earn exclusive rewards for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Zombies. See the start and end dates of the Horde Hunt event, as well as the new features and rewards for this limited-time event.

Horde Hunt Event Runs from February 7 to March 3

The Horde Hunt event officially starts on February 7 and lasts for 25 days. The event will allow players to earn 12 exclusive rewards by playing Zombie-themed modes like Hordepoint, Modern Warfare Zombies, and Warzone.

COD Blog Mentions March 6th as the Final Day of Horde Hunt

The COD Blog and in-game timer are currently mismatched, with the official blog mentioning that Horde Hunt ends on March 6th. However, the in-game timer states the event will last for 25 days, placing the end of the event at March 3.

To get all of the Horde Hunt Event rewards before it ends, make sure you complete all the challenges on or before March 3, 2024.

Horde Hunt Event Features

Hunt Down Featured Zombies Each Week

Horde Hunt features weekly challenges for players that require them to hunt specific zombie types per week. Collecting the required number of bones for each featured zombie type will net you different rewards.

Note: All rewards for regular Zombie hunts will be available on launch. You won't need to wait until Week 3 of Horde Hunt to get all the Aether Tool, Perk Cola, and Ray Gun Case rewards from this hunt.

Available in Hordepoint LTM and Fortune's Keep

Horde Hunt won't be exclusive to the MW3 Zombies game mode. Players who only play MW3 Multiplayer or Warzone will still be able to progress the event challenges by participating in Zombies-themed features for each game mode.

Multiplayer's Hordepoint LTM will pit you against both regular and Elite Zombies while capturing Hardpoints in Vortex-themed maps. Warzone's Fortune's Keep will also have a new Zombies features like the Eradication Contract and weekly zombie target.

Unlock the Killshot Operator Skin for Swagger by completing all Mastery Collection Hunts in Horde Hunt. Hunt and collect the bones of all featured Zombies across all 3 weeks of the event to earn this skin.

Cursed Ammo Mod for the Week 3 Hunt

A seemingly new type of ammo mod is available for players who complete the final Horde Hunt collection challenge during Week 3. Earn the new Cursed Ammo by collecting the bones of the Week 3 Featured Zombie.

Consumable Rewards for MW3 Zombies

There are a total of 8 consumable rewards for collecting the bones from base zombies in MW3 Zombies. These rewards range from different rarity Aether Tools, Perk Colas, and a Ray Gun Case.

• Speed Cola: Requires 155 bones
• Deadshot Daiquiri: Requires 310 bones.
• Epic Aether Tool: Requires 625 bones.
• Juggernog: Requires 1250 bones.
• Legendary Aether Tool: Requires 2500 bones.
• Elemental Pop: Requires 5000 bones.
• Ray Gun Case: Requires 10000 bones.
