Skill Restrictions Explained

Players exceeding the Skill Division Restrictions will not be able to queue as a party in Ranked Play of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3). Read on to learn what the restrictions are and which Skill Divisions are allowed to party up in Ranked Play.

Skill Division Restrictions
Crimson to Top 250 Can party with players within 1 Skill Division
Diamond Can party within 2 Skill Divisions
Bronze to Platinum Can party up without any restrictions

During Season 1 Reloaded, Skill Restrictions were implemented to ensure competitive fairness and balance between matches in Ranked Play.

Players in certain divisions are restricted and can only party up with players close to their current SR. The player with the highest division will determine the party SR restrictions.
