Can You Gift the Battle Pass?
Yes, Through Call of Duty Companion App
You can gift your friend a Battle Pass through the Call of Duty Companion App. You will have to pay for it using your COD Points before you can gift it to your friend.
You can get the Call of Duty Companion App for free through the App Store or Google Play Store. However, do note that the Call of Duty Companion App may not be available for all countries.
Meet Up and Pay for the Battle Pass
An alternative method to gift a Battle Pass to a friend is to meet up, log in to their account, and buy enough COD Points on their account to get the Battle Pass. It's not the best method, but it technically qualifies as gifting a Battle Pass to your friend!
How to Gift the Battle Pass
1. Link Your Activision Account to the App
You must first login and link your Activition Account to the Call of Duty Companion App to start. You will need to pass the verification first to ensure that you're using your Activision Account.
2. Become Friends in the App or In-Game
You must be friends in the app or in-game with your friend to make this work. Ask for their Activision ID or give yours to them before adding each other as friends.
3. Go to the Battle Pass Tab
Look for the Battle Pass tab through the app and tap on it. It should give you options to purchase which type of Battle Pass you can purchase for the game.
4. Choose the Gift from the Options
Select the type of Battle Pass you want to purchase and select the Gift the Pass button from the options. Choose the friend you want to gift the Battle Pass, and it should automatically become active on their end after a few minutes.
If not, your friend might need to restart his game to update the changes to his account.
