Aether Tears are points on the map that teleport you into the air in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (MW3 2023). Read on to see a map of all Aether Tear locations, what Aether Tears do, and how to use them.

What are Aether Tears?

Teleport You Into the Air

Modern Warfare 3 - Teleport into the Air

Aether Tears teleport you way up into the air, allowing you to deploy your parachute and move quickly toward a more desired position. In order to use an Aether Tear, simply walk into it.

Aether Tears function almost identically to Redeploy Drones, but Aether Tears take you even higher into the air, allowing you to parachute to farther distances.

Found Along the Outskirts of the Map

Aether Tears are commonly found close to the edges of the map, in the Low Threat Level zone. This makes it easier for players to move around at the beginning of a zombies game.

Follow Aether Tear Icons in the Minimap

Aether Tears do not show up in the Tac-Map, so keep a sharp eye out for them, as they appear only in your minimap when you're closeby. You can distinguish them in-game by their bright violet glow.
