How to Get Science Journal
Kill Around 50 Zombies in the Aether Storm
The Science Journal can be obtained by killing around 50 zombies inside the Aether Storm. A reward rift will show up after killing these zombies and the Science Journal is inside it. There's no need to defeat the Stormcaller.
The Aether Storm has different spawn locations in each match, but you can easily find it at the start of the match by looking for the purple circle on the Zombies Map. Bring your Aether Tools or a Sentry Gun and Pack-A-Punch your weapons as the zombies inside the Aether Storm are Tier 2 Zombies, meaning tougher compared to normal ones found in the Tier 1 zone.

What to Do With Science Journal
Upgrade Science Journal at Tile E4
| How to Upgrade Science Journal | |

| 1 |  To upgrade the Science Journal to Gold Rarity, head to the purple triangle at Tile E4, just south of the Dark Aether Rift. Standing on the triangle, shoot the 3 runes that appear on the side of the buildings around you (in any order). |
| 2 |  Afterward, head to top of the archway on Tile F4 to start the summon of the upgraded Laptop. |
| 3 |  A prompt to perform the summon will appear if you look into the scorched platform like pictured above. You'll know your succesful if the Science Journal is taken away from your inventory. Afterward, kill zombies within the radius until a buffed Hellhound appears. Defeat the Hellhound for the Reward Rift containing the Gold Rarity Science Journal to appear. |
Place on a Pedestal to Open the 3rd Dark Aether Rift
After upgrading the Science Journal into Gold Rarity, proceed to the 3rd Dark Aether Rift location. There, you'll find 4 pedestals that require you to offer a key item on each of them.
The other keys you need are the Giraffe Toy, Imaginary Friend Drawing, and Laptop With Stickers.
3rd Dark Aether Rift Location
Like the first two Dark Aether Rifts, you'll need to obtain 4 keys to then put on the pedestals in front of the third Dark Aether Rift. The 3rd Dark Aether Rift is found in tile E4 of the main Zombies Map.
