Snowballs can be obtained in Snowfight mode or Zombies mode. In Zombies mode, you can see the locations of snowball piles by opening the Tac-Map, indicated by a snowflake icon and will give you 10 charges.
In Snowfight, you'll need to pick up snowballs from snowball piles scattered all over the map. Picking up snowballs from a pile will give you 9 charges, and you'll need to find more if you run out.
In Snowfight rounds, golden snowballs will spawn in the middle of the Hang Over and Shipmas maps.
Golden snowballs can one-shot enemies but only contain one charge. After tossing a golden snowball, your equipment slot will be empty and you'll need to find more snowballs.
It will take about two hits to kill an enemy operator with a regular snowball, and one with a golden snowball. Zombies on the other hand are much tougher and will take about five hits to be killed.
Snowballs take up the Lethal Equipment slot and have a similar trajectory to Throwing Knives. Normal snowballs don't do headshot damage on operators or Zombies, as per our testing.
You can get Kills with Snowballs by successfully taking down enemies using snowballs in the limited-time mode Snowfight or Zombies during the CODMAS event.
Snowballs are considered Lethal Equipment that players will need to pick up all over the map.
Santa's Slayground is part of the CODMAS Christmas event where players can take on challenges for various rewards.
Earning enough Kills with Snowballs in both Snowfight and Zombies will grant you a Mistle Toe charm.
Kills with Snowballs only count in Multiplayer matches against other players. You won't be able to progress any of your Challenges in private or custom matches.
