It is recommended to use LMGs when shooting down moving vehicles because of their high magazine capacity and rate of fire.

Other automatic weapons like Assault Rifles can destroy vehicles as well but it will take you significantly longer, unless you have allies helping you.

Launchers can be equipped as your secondary weapon if you have a Light Machine Gun equipped. If you plan to use an Assault Rifle instead, you can attach a launcher to its Underbarrel slot if you prefer.
