How to Get Dog Collar Key

You must obtain the Gold Dog Collar Key in order to obtain a Sigil that opens the Dark Aether Rift. Follow these steps to obtain the Gold Dog Collar Key:

1. Put Chunk of Flesh and Molotov Into Dog House
2. Kill Hellhound and Loot the Purple Dog Collar
3. Head Into Aether Tear
4. Parachute Into 2nd Aether Tear in the Sky
5. Complete Purple Contract
6. Obtain Gold Dog Collar From Reward Rift

Put Chunk of Flesh and Molotov Into Dog House

You get the Purple Dog Collar by putting a Chunk of Flesh and a Molotov into a Dog House. Find a Dog House, interact with it, and place the 2 items into the Dog House.

• The Molotov you can obtain randomly from Loot Caches or by equipping them in your inventory before starting a Zombies game.
• The Chunk of Flesh is obtained by exploding enemy zombies.

How to Get Chunk of Flesh

You can get Chunks of Flesh simply by killing zombies with explosives. We recommend that you use Scatter Blast Ammo Mod to apply explosive damage to your weapon, making it a lot easier without having to rely on tactical items.

Another method is, while doing an Escort Contract, let the ACV run over enemies.

How to Get Chunks of Flesh

Kill Hellhound and Loot the Purple Dog Collar

A Hellhound will appear after you place the Chunk of Flesh and Molotov into the dog house. Kill the Hellhound and loot the Purple Dog Collar that it drops. You will need this Purple Dog Collar Key to unlock the Gold Dog Collar Key that opens the Dark Aether Rift.

Head Into Aether Tear

With the Dog Collar Key in your inventory, find an Aether Tear then walk into it. You will be teleported high into the sky. Immediately open your parachute.

Parachute Into 2nd Aether Tear in the Sky

When you've teleported into the sky and opened your parachute, quickly look around for a 2nd Aether Tear with a reddish hue. Maneuver your parachute and glide into this Tear.

Complete Purple Contract

After successfully entering the red Aether Tear in the sky, you will be teleported to a new location. Find and complete the new purple Contract that appears on your map.

Obtain Gold Dog Collar From Reward Rift

After completing the purple contract, finally obtain the Gold Dog Collar Key from the Reward Rift.

How to Use Dog Collar Key

Place Golden Dog Collar Onto Pedestal

Find the tornado at the tiny island at the southern side of the High Threat level zone. Place the Dog Collar and the three other Keys (Surveillance Camera Key, the Locked Diary, and the Pill Bottle Key) onto their corresponding pedestal.

Note: The interact button may be buggy and sometimes not appear. Change your position and move backwards and forwards to find the right angle to make the interact button appear.

If placed on the right pedestal, a boss will appear. Defeat it to obtain the Sigil that will allow you to enter the Dark Aether Rift.
