Specific Weapon Rotations

Modern Warfare 3 - Recommended Icon

Recommended Weapons are specific weapons that are tagged with an orange fire icon in the Loadout select menu. Recommended Weapons are on a rotation, so the weapons with the tag will change and aren't permanent. So far, the Recommended Weapons are the same for Season 0's Week 1 and 2 challenges.

Weekly Challenges

For Season 0 Week 1 and 2 Challenges, most of the challenges are to get Operator Kills with a Recommended Weapon. Notably, all Recommended Weapons on launch are Modern Warfare 3 exclusive guns, which could be the developers trying to push players towards the new weapons.

Hasn't been updated since the first week of February, this is the only site I can find that actually lists the weekly challenges or recommended guns, but it's not updated often enough
