Use Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod

Modern Warfare 3 - Cryo Frost - Frost
The Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod applies additional Freeze Damage to your weapon and grants it a chance to temporarily slow down enemies due to its cold effect. You can use this to your advantage to secure Frost Damage Kills for your daily challenges.

You can randomly obtain these ammo mods by opening Aether Caches inside Aether Nests or by opening Reward Rifts after completing Contracts. Additionally, you can acquire the Cryo Freeze Formula, allowing you to craft Cryo Freeze Ammo Mods every 3 hours, after completing the Tier 2 mission, Safe Cracker in Act 2.

Frost Blast is a Field Upgrade that deals damage to all nearby enemies with a powerful blast and then slows enemies within its area of effect. Killing enemies with this Field Upgrade will count as a Frost Damage Kill.

Consuming an Elemental Pop Soda grants you a perk that gives each of your bullets a chance to apply a random Ammo Mod effect. While the chance of applying the specific Ammo Mod you need is low, this perk is still useful for completing daily challenges related to kills with a specific element.
