Big Bounty HVTs are the elite zombies in Bounty Contracts in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Zombies. Learn what Big Bounty HVTs are and how to kill Big Bounty HVTs fast.
What are Big Bounty HVTs?
Targets in Eliminate Bounty Contracts
Big Bounty HVTs are the elite zombies that players need to eliminate to complete the Eliminate Big Bounty contract. These are highly durable zombies with special moves, making them significantly harder than regular zombies.
How to Get Special and Elite Zombie Kills
Varying Elite Zombie Targets
Big Bounty HVTs vary per contract. Currently, the Disciple, Mangler, and Mimic have a chance of appearing in HVTs, but there is no guaranteed way to choose which one will be the target.
How to Kill Big Bounty HVTs
Accept the Eliminate Big Bounty Contract
Accept the Eliminate Big Bounty Contracts found across the map to pin an HVT location. Its icon will have a crosshair on a blue cellphone.
Use Specific Ammo Mods Against Different Elites
| Bounty Target | Ammo Mod Weakness |

| Disciple | Dead Wire |
| Mangler | Napalm Burst |
| Mimic | Brain Rot |
Each Big Bounty HVT has its elemental weakness which you can get from ammo mods.
The Dead Wire ammo mod incapacitates the Disciple, preventing it from draining life. The Napalm Burst ammo mod sets Manglers on fire, doing damage over time and bypassing their armor. While the Brain Rot ammo mod allows its user to deal more damage to Mimics.
Pack a Punch Weapons
Pack-a-punched weapons are beneficial for taking down a Big Bounty HVT, as they increase your weapon's damage, ammo capacity, and reload speed; ultimately keeping your damage up-time active.
Use High-Caliber Rounds
High-caliber rounds from Rifles, LMGs, and some SMGs are recommended as Big Bounty HVTs are more durable than regular zombies.
