How to Unlock Call of the Qingming
Complete Season 1 Chapter 1 Intermission
To unlock the Call of the Qingming, you must unlock the event itself. The requirements to unlock the Sword Seeker Chronicles event are to reach Inter-Knot Level 20 and clear the Season 1 Chapter 1 Intermission Main Story Quest!
Chapter 1 Intermission Quest Guide
Part of the Sword Seeker Chronicles
Call of the Qingming is the first event quest within the Sword Seeker Chronicles event. During the event, you head inside the Qingming Realm to learn about the previous masters of the Qingming Sword!
This quest and the following quest, The Ravens and the Swordmaster, make up the Seeking Sword Heart Phase Commissions. It's a series of quests that make up the story of Sword Seeker Chronicles Day 1!

- Speak to Xiao'Guang
- Enter the Qingming Realm
- Investigate the Abandoned Altar
- Defeat the Ethereals
- Speak to "Shifu"
Speak to Xiao'Guang in Her Room
Find your senior in her room at Suibian Temple and speak to her. While in conversation, a voice from the Qingming Sword itself will become audible, beckoning both of you to find the origins of the cursed sword.
With your Shifu and the others still out on a mission, agree to head to the location with Xiao'Guang.
Enter the Qingming Realm
A new area in Lemnian Hollow, the Qingming Realm, will be unlocked. Once you enter, eliminate the Ethereals in your way, then proceed forward.
A skill for Ye Shunguang that can only be done in the Qingming Realm, called Swift Strike, can instantly execute normal enemies. Be sure to use it as much as you can to progress faster.
Investigate the Abandoned Altar
Go down the flight of stairs and heal yourself by going near the Fissure Beacon, then interact with the abandoned sword altar to the right of the gate ahead.
This will introduce you to the Sword Will Resonance feature, which bestows Ye Shunguang with enhanced abilities whenever she is in the Qingming Realm.
Defeat the Ethereals
In the next area, defeat the Ethereals until a Miasma Walker Scorpse appears. Fight it until its health reaches a critical level, where it will flee. Speak to Xiao'Guang afterwards.
Speak to ''Shifu''
In the large chamber ahead, speak to Yixuan...or rather, a being taking the image of her. Nevertheless, she'll inform you of the nature of the Qingming Realm and how it follows the Qingming Sword's will, leading to familiar faces appearing.
She will then instruct you to find three masterless swords, return them to her, and the Qingming Swords' secrets will reveal themselves. Afterwards, follow ''Shifu'' to the first seal and proceed forward.

Call of the Qingming is the first quest of the Sword Seeker Heart phase of the Sword Seeker Chronicles event. Completing all the quests in a phase will net you the same rewards of 80 Polychromes and 16 Original Chips!
