How to Unlock The Ravens and the Swordmaster
Clear the Call of Qingming Quest
The Ravens and the Swordmaster can be unlocked after completing the previous commission in the questline, Call of Qingming. The commission will appear on the Schedule screen once its prequisites are met.
Part of the Sword Seeker Chronicles Event
The Ravens and the Swordmaster is the second quest of the Version 2.5 flagship event, Sword Seeker Chronicles.
In this quest, you and Ye Shunguang must help “Big Pan” out and save his fellow mercenaries.

Defeat the Ethereals and Speak to Big Pan
After Shifu
breaks the seal, clear out the Ethereals in the area then speak to Big Pan, who resembles Pan Yinhu. He'll inform you that they were ambushed by bandits, so agree to help him out.
Before proceeding, you can interact with another sword altar here to enhance your abilities.
Rescue Big Pan's Companion
After speaking with Big Pan, proceed to the next area. Clear out any Ethereals, then speak to the man on sitting down by the far wall.
Catch Up with Big Pan
Big Pan will then run off to save his other companions. Catch up to him by using the new Flying Sword mechanic, which allows Ye Shunguang to warp from sword to sword to reach certain areas.
Once you reach a clearing, interact with the Sealed Sword Memory.
Defeat the Ethereals
Interacting with the Sword Memory will summon Ethereals. Defeat them to proceed further.
Successfully doing so will reward you with the Sword Memory, A Lone Path in the Snow: Canine Companion.
Rest with Ye Shunguang
Before pressing onward, approach the beacon and rest with Xiao'Guang for a little bit. Watch the cutscenes, then proceed.
Speak to the Mercenaries
Use the Flying Sword mechanic to reach the lower levels, then speak to the mercenaries in the courtyard ahead to learn of Big Pan's whereabouts.
Proceed through the archway, then use Disintegration to clear the blockade.
Defeat the Ethereals and Speak to Big Pan
Turn left and go through the archway. Spot Big Pan at the corner, but in order to get to him, you need to go through the wave of Ethereals before you first, so go ahead and do so.
Once all enemies have been eliminated, speak to Big Pan.
Defeat the Miasma Ravager Avarus
After the cutscenes with Big Pan, proceed back to the area with the frozen Miasma Ravager Avarus to find it active once more. Fight alongside Big Pan and take it down!
After the battler, interact with the sword to get the Sword Memory, A Lone Path in the Snow: Monkey's Path.
Return to “Shifu”
You will immediately be transported back to the main area where “Shifu” is waiting for you. Report your findings to her. This will unlock the ability to upgrade already acquired Sword Will Resonance skills!
Speak to “Shifu”
After the cutscenes, approach “Shifu” in the middle of the courtyard and speak to her one last time. This should conclude the quest!

The Ravens and the Swordmaster is the final quest of the Sword Seeker Heart phase of the Sword Seeker Chronicles event. Completing all the quests in a phase will net you the same rewards of 80 Polychromes and 16 Original Chips!
