Pull Back Immediately
Move back as soon as the stage starts to line up the canisters with Hans. Once you are in position, attack the canisters to knock them into the boss for massive damage.
Make Use of the Ethereal Enemies
Like the canisters, the additional Ethereal enemies that spawn in during this stage will also be knocked back a good distance when attacked. Be sure to aim for Hans when doing this to deal even more damage to the boss.

Keep Enemies Between You and Friday
Your primary source of damage here is to knock the additional enemies into Friday. It only takes a few hits to send these targets flying, so be sure to always be mindful of your positioning.
Keep the enemies between yourself and Friday so that they are knocked into the boss for massive damage whenever you attack them.
