Can You Create a Character?

Tales of Arise does not have the option to create your own character. The game provides you with a set of playable characters that you can switch between during the story and battles. However, you can change the appearance of characters by changing their equipment.

Tales of Arise - Equip Weapon

Although character creation is not present in Tales of Arise, you can change each character's appearance by changing their weapon. To do so, go to the Equipment section of the menu and select the weapon you wish to equip. Each weapon has a unique model that shows on your character.

Changing Armor and Accessories

Tales of Arise Accessory and Armor

It is possible to change armor and accessories under the Equipment menu as well. While it has been confirmed that changing accessories does not change the appearance of your character, whether or not armor affects appearance has yet to be confirmed as the Demo offers only one set of armor per character.

Outfits Section

While currently unavailable, there is an outfit section of the menu that allows you to change your character's attire. This is a feature that will be available in the full version of the game, providing you with multiple options to choose from!
