List of Contents
Hale's Moving House can spawn in one of four possible locations. Players may need to visit all of these locations to find the house.
The earliest possible encounter for Hale's Moving House is on a cliff southeast of Citrus County and northwest of Deadsville. There is a chance that the house will move. It may change its location while the player is traveling to it.
Hale's Moving House may also be encountered via the Strange Empty House quest. The quest can be started once the player has reached the Chalk Peak region. To start, simply speak to Jeremiah outside the Tall Grass Inn.
Jeremiah will highlight the locations on the player's map, and the House may also spawn in these areas.
Region | Location |

Broken Delta | South of Sunbury |
Chalk Peak | North of Funace Lair |
Iron River | Outside Greywater Camp |
Interactive Map and All Locations Guide
If the house is moving, shoot the glowing hands under the house to stop it from moving. Once the house collapses and gets close to the ground, a glowing updraft will spawn, which the player can use to jump higher than usual to get inside the house.
It is also possible to encounter the house while it is still. Players can enter the house normally if the house is not moving.
Once inside, players can shoot the glowing hands to start the encounter.
Within the house, players must shoot three orbs that will possess objects scattered throughout the house. They can be easily located using Spacetime, which is activated by pressing Q by default.
Upon completion of the encounter, the player will be rewarded with the Disco Ball Deviant. This deviant can be used to make Whim Potions, which are consumables that can provide buffs to players.
Opening the chest will also provide the player with a good amount of Stardust Source, Acid, and a few Controllers. Note that the rewards for this quest are repeatable, but can only be claimed once a week.
