When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Priam are +Spd and -Res. Priam's base Spd of 40 is quite high compared to other units in the game, and he even comes with Null Follow-Up 3 in his base kit. His Spd should be boosted as much as possible to guarantee follow-up attacks.
Priam's Res is quite low at base 26, and lowering it should not change most of his matchups, thus it is safe to take as a bane.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Priam to +10 for the same reasons mentioned above. His Spd needs to be boosted as much as possible.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Priam is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Priam is able to retaliate against the Bow Flier thanks to his Ancient Ragnell!
Priam's unique weapon Ancient Ragnell allows him to counterattack at any range, similar to the other variants of Ragnell.
In addition to this, it also grants Priam a Def+3 stat increase and a conditional Atk/Def-6 debuff to his foes.
The condition is quite easy to meet thanks to his native Rouse Spd/Def 4, meaning the weapon will almost always be active!
Priam comes with Atk/Def Ideal 4 which grants a conditional boost to his Atk and Def depending on whether he is at full health and/or has a bonus applied to him.
Again, this condition is almost always partially met due to Rouse Spd/Def 4 granting a bonus at the start of each turn.
Priam's native Sol also helps regain health, which helps keep him healthy and possibly even at full HP constantly, further amplifying the Ideal skill's effects!
As mentioned twice above, Priam comes with Rouse Spd/Def 4.
This skill grants Spd/Def+6 at the start of each turn as long as Priam is not adjacent to an ally.
It also applies a 【Null Panic】effect to Priam, ensuring that these bonuses cannot be reversed and retaining the effectiveness of his Ancient Ragnell and Atk/Def Ideal 4!
Priam's Res stat is his main weakness; even with his Distant Counter effect, mages should have no trouble dealing with Priam.
Keep him away from mages unless you are positive he'll survive and kill in retaliation.
Alternatively, you can patch up his Res with Sacred Seals like Spd/Res Solo 3.

Priam has three useful skills for inheritance in Atk/Def Ideal 4, Null Follow-Up 3, and Rouse Spd/Def 4.
With pre-inheritance, it is possible to inherit up to two skills at once. Ensure you maximize Priam's fodder by doing so!
Priam is a Hero who can be pulled from any summon.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.
