What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon grants multiple effects depending on Dragonflowers invested ・Has Spd based damage reduction up to 40% |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat based on the number of times unit has been enhanced using Dragonflowers (one or more times grants +6, zero times grants +4), and also, if unit has been enhanced using Dragonflowers two or more times, neutralizes effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to foe or inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat. |
Cooldown Count = 3 Treats foe's Def/Res as if reduced by 50% during combat. |
At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd+7, but after combat, if unit attacked, deals 5 damage to unit. |
If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats x 4 (max 40%). If unit's HP ≤ 75% and unit's attack triggers Special, deals +5 damage when Special triggers. |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (18) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (9) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (13) | ★★★★★ | |
Def (8) | ★★★★☆ | |
Res (6) | ★★★☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
Malice's best IVs are +Spd and -Res . +Spd is a Superboon and boosts her already high Spd stat even further, allowing her to create more follow-up attacks and get a higher damage reduction from Spurn. Her Res is her worst stat and boosting it will not change most of her matchups, thus it is safe to take as a bane.
If you want to build a +10 merged Malice, we recommend a +Spd IV for similar reasons as above.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Malice is a close-range physical attacker. When the effects of the Weapon Triangle are not taken into account, the damage she deals will be equal to her Atk minus the foes's Def stat.
The stat bonuses from Atk/Spd Push 4, Spendy Scimitar and the damage reduction from Spurn can be seen in this encounter.
Spendy Scimitar is a powerful sword, assuming Malice is improved by at least 2 batches of Dragonflowers and meets the conditions to activate it in combat.
It accelerates her Special trigger by 1 count no matter what, and provides additional effects depending on how many Dragonflower enhacnements she has received.
Below is a summary of its effects if Malice initiates combat or if she is within 2 spaces of an ally:
+0 Flowers | +4 Atk/Spd/Def/Res |
---|---|
+1 Flowers | +6 Atk/Spd/Def/Res |
+2 Flowers | Cancels effects that accelerate foe's Special charge and effects that decelerate her Special charge. |
Malice either gets +6 to all stats, or +4 to all stats. She does not get +10 to all stats when she has been enhanced at least one time.
Spurn 3 reduces the damage taken by Malice if her Spd > foe's Spd. It also grants +5 damage when her special triggers if her HP ≤ 75%. Together with Atk/Spd Push 4 and Spendy Scimitar, Spurn makes Malice quite a bulky hero who will be deceptively hard to take down especially with dragonflower investment, and support.
Malice needs at least 2 Dragonflower enhancements to access the full effects of Spendy Scimitar. This is relatively inexpensive, but it will slow down your other Dragonflower projects especially if you are a free-to-play Summoner.

---|
Malice can be used to inherit the skills Spurn 3 and Atk/Spd Push 4. However, these are very rare skills and Malice is a very powerful hero. Consider your goals and needs before fodderring for these skills.
If you are able to inherit Atk/Spd Push 3 from another unit, you can get both skills from one copy of Malice.
Malice is a Hero who can be pulled from any summon.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.
