When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Fallen Lloyd will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Fallen Lloyd are +Spd and -Res. Boosting Spd improves Lloyd's performance in battle and allows him to keep up with the fastest metagame units.
Lloyd's Res is above average at base 32 and reducing it will not impact his matchups that much. Heavy magic nukers will still deal significant damage whether he has 32 or 29 Res.
We recommend +Spd when merging Fallen Lloyd up to +10 to ensure he retains his Spd edge against his foes.

Fallen Lloyd is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Fallen Lloyd's exclusive sword Dead-Wolf Blade has multiple effects that impact combat.
To start, it grants 【Foe Penalty Doubler】 to Lloyd and allies within 2 spaces and inflicts Spd/Def-7 on the closest foes to Lloyd and all foes within 2 spaces of those foes at the start of each turn.
In combat, Dead-Wolf Blade grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to Fallen Lloyd, grants an additional Atk/Spd/Def/Res bonnus equal to 15% of Lloyd's Spd, grants 40% damage reduction on the foe's first attack, and slows down the foe's Special cooldown charges per attack.
Although Dead-Wolf Blade is lacking an accelerated Special trigger, this isn't always a negative effect. Skills like Gambit 4 have a stronger effect as the Special cooldown value gets higher, and Fallen Lloyd can take advantage of this.
Fallen Lloyd is yet another Sword Infantry unit in Fire Emblem Heroes. There are many Sword Infantry units in the game, and they are all competing for a spot on the player's team.
Unless the player is willing to sacrifice coverage, running Fallen Lloyd will prevent players from running other Sword Infantry units.
However, unlike most viable Sword Infantry units in the modern metagame, Fallen Lloyd can be acquired for free through the Heroic Grail shop. This makes it easy to acquire 10 merges and maximize Fallen Lloyd's investment without spending orbs.
