When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Alear (F) are +Spd and -Res. Alear is the fastest hero in the game (as of the time of her release) at base 46 Spd with a superboon bringing that up to 50. Most of her kit also revolves around her Spd, and maximizing it is very important to ensure her performance on the field.
Her Res is below average and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend +Spd when merging Alear (F) up to +10 for similar reasons above. Her Spd is her most important stat and should be maximized as much as possible.

Alear (F) is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Alear's Libération grants 【Charge】 to herself and her support partner (as long as they are within 3 spaces of Alear) at the start of each turn. 【Charge】 allows units to warp up to three spaces in cardinal directions, ignoring terrain effects that slow down (but not completely block) units. This allows units to quickly traverse the map and either mount an offensive or retreat.
Libération also grants Alear Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat and inflicts a Spd/Def penalty, scaling based on the number of allies from distinct titles in nearby spaces. This effect can scale up to Spd/Def-12 with proper teambuilding and unit placement!
Finally, Libération also grants Alear Spd-based damage reduction, up to 40%. This allows Alear to withstand heavy attacks and survive combat.
Alear's base kit has multiple sources of damage reduction with her Libération, Close Call 4, and Spd Smoke 4.
Take note that multiple instances of percentage-based damage reduction stack multiplicatively instead of additively. Libération provides up to 40%, Close Call 4 50%, and Spd Smoke 4's 【Dodge】 status another 40%.
At maximum power, Alear will have up to 82% damage reduction!
Alear (F) has multiple sources of damage reduction, but all of them are non-Special and can be pierced by effects like Lethality and Deadeye.
She also does not have an effect that slows down her foe's Special charges, leaving her prone to these piercing Specials.
Alear (F) is a powerful unit, but her unit archetype of Sword Infantry is incredibly saturated with powerful units.
Her main niche is providing 【Charge】 status and being a powerful stat ball with high damage reduction.
