If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, inflicts penalty on foe's Atk/Spd = 20% of unit's Spd at start of combat, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack (only highest value applied; does not stack), and reduces damage dealt to unit by 5 when foe's attack triggers unit's Special (excluding Miracle) during combat.

Cooldown Count = 2
Reduces damage from foe's attacks by X% (if foe's Range = 1, X = 10; if foe's Range = 2, X = 30). After Special triggers, unit's next attack deals damage = total damage reduced (by any source, including other skills; resets at end of combat). At start of combat, if unit's Special is ready, unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range during combat.

If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat, and also, if unit's Special is ready or unit's Special triggered before or during this combat, deals +5 damage during combat (except when dealing damage with area-of-effect Specials) and when unit deals damage during combat, restores 7 HP to unit. (Triggers even if 0 damage is dealt.)

Inflicts Spd/Def-4 on foe during combat. If a skill compares unit's Spd to foe or ally's Spd, treats unit's Spd as if granted +7. If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats x 5 (max 50%). If unit's HP ≤ 75% and unit's attack can trigger unit's Special, deals +5 damage when Special triggers. Summer Fjorm's Ice-Bound Brand disables effects that prevent her follow-ups if facing a ranged foe.

In combat, if Summer Fjorm's foe initiates combat or if her foe's HP ≥ 75%, Summer Fjorm receives Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, inflicts an Atk/Spd penalty onto her foe equal to 20% of Summer Fjorm's Spd at start of combat, applies a Guard effect onto her foe, and reduces incoming damage by 5 whenever her foe's attack triggers her Special.

Ice-Bound Brand is a great defensive weapon, granting multiple useful effects that ensure Summer Fjorm survives combat.

Frostbite Mirror reduces and reflects damage

Summer Fjorm carries a new exclusive Special in Frostbite Mirror. This Special reduces damage from her foe's attacks by a percentage equal to their range (10% for melee foes and 30% for ranged foes) and then reflects the damage reduced back onto the foe during Summer Fjorm's next attack.

Additionally, if Summer Fjorm's Special is ready to trigger at the start of combat, Frostbite Mirror grants Summer Fjorm a Distant Counter effect.

This Special helps ensure Summer Fjorm's survival and allows her to retaliate against ranged foes.

Redundancy

Summer Fjorm is yet another godsword unit released recently, competing with the likes of Alear (F), Fallen Byleth (F), the free-to-play option Lumera, and many more.

Frostbite Mirror sets her apart from these other units, but the playstyle remains the same.

The speedy sword infantry archetype is incredibly saturated with modern units, making Summer Fjorm a luxury instead of a necessary archetype to have in your barracks.
