Enemies in both the Alliance and Frontline modes are weak to Fire and Physical. The Doppelgangers in the Frontline, however, are resistant to Ice, so we can take it out of the equation.

A pairing of Burnice and Jane is optimal, with Caesar providing shields to activate the stage's buff, for which you can use Ben as an alternative. A Mono-Fire Team will also work very well.

Red Moccus VS Bangvolver

While both Bangboos work exceptionally well in Disorder teams where you rely on Assault DMG, we recommend Red Moccus when dealing with mobs of humanoid enemies or bosses.

Red Moccus drags enemies that may stray too far away towards you. This will make it easier for characters who hit in a radius to simultaneously take out enemies! Bangvolver works best against singular bosses.

Defense Frontline Guide

Launch and Interrupt Doppelgangers

Doppelgangers are all humanoid enemies, which means they can be launched and interrupted if you use the proper skills to do so. Be sure to do these often for an easier time dealing with them.

Bellum is a special case as he cannot be launched due to his size. Regardless, he can still be interrupted so do so whenever possible.

Rely on Anomalies and Disorder

This applies for both Frontline and Alliance modes. With Fire and Physical being the main Attributes for this stage, it would be best to rely on Anomaly and Disorder DMG through Burning and Assault.

Multiple characters are fit for the job, so this will be a sound strategy in taking out enemies in record time. If you don't have Fire Agents to cause Burn, relying solely on Assault can still work wonders.

Use Shields for Protection and Stage Buff

The stage buff for Day 1 will increase your entire party's ATK by 800 for a maximum of 3 times whenever they are protected by a shield. Hence, it would be wise to bring along an Agent who can do so.

Ben, Seth, and Caesar are your best candidates. Should you have any of them, be sure to bring them along to negate as much incoming DMG as possible while taking advantage of the stage's buff.

Defense Alliance Guide

Target the Light Jaegers First

As per usual when dealing with mobs of normal enemies, prioritize the ranged units and lure the melee units to their position for easy culling. It would be best if your character could hit in an AoE so you can take out multiple targets at once.

If you have Red Moccus as your Bangboo, the stray stragglers can be dragged to your position for a much easier time.
