How to Get Stardust Ore

Enter Areas With High Pollution Level

Once Human - Stardust Pollution in an Area at 120

To get Stardust Ore, players need to mine Startrace Ore nodes, found only in areas with very high amounts of Stardust Pollution. The Stardust Pollution is getting worse will appear as a notification when entering these areas.

For Stardust Ore specifically, a pollution level of 100 or greater is recommended. The pollution level of an area is visible on the Cradle backpack that characters wear.

Go To Chalk Peak to Find a Pollution 100 Area

The above location in Chalk Peak is an area with 100 pollution level, near the coordinates of -1185, -2402.

Be careful when entering, as Stardust Pollution of this intensity will severely decrease Sanity and Max HP, making players more vulnerable to damage.

Stardust Ore can be processed into Stardust Source, which is a valuable resource used in processes such as calibrating high-rarity weapons.

Players need to have the Oil Processing Memetic Specialization, which will allow them to refine the Ore into Stardust Source at an Electric Furnace.
