Dodge Miranda's Charges
In the final fight, Rose gains the power to dodge with short invincibility. Use it to dodge sideways when Mother Miranda charges at you. You'll know she's about to do it when she twirls in the air and swoops in toward you.
Dodge Her Lunge
When Miranda dives into the ground and the atmosphere goes gray, she's about to lunge at you from beneath. Time your dodge when she emerges and spreads her arms out to avoid getting damaged.
Dodge Her Attack From Underneath
Miranda will sometimes dive into the ground and come up from right beneath you. Dodge away as soon as you see black mold appear beneath you.
Absorb the Projectiles
When Miranda throws projectiles at you, absorb them to avoid getting damaged. Absorbing them also refills the mutamycete power gauge by two.
Use the Megamycete Attack at Close Range
When you have at least three slots in your mutamycete power gauge filled, you're able to use the Megamycete Attack against Miranda. Just take note that it has a limited range, so make sure to use it only when you're near enough for a sure hit.
Shoot Her Once She's Down
After Miranda gets hit by the Megamycete Attack, she gets stunned for a good while. Use this opportunity to attack her with all you got. The M1897 shotgun is recommended here for the most damage.
If you're short on ammo, check around the area as ammo randomly spawns on the ground while the fight is going on.
Deep Stratum Walkthrough
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  Being brought to the Deep Stratum by "Michael", you must push on toward the Village. Rose will be compelled to head for the giant core in the distance. |
| 2 |  Enter the Village and push through. A clone of Rose surrounded by a black aura will appear on the path. Follow it through and collect the items in the way. |
| 3 |  As you approach the giant core, Face Eaters, that look like Rose's clones from the Castle, will appear. You can choose to fight them or avoid them all together. Remember that you can use Rose's power to stun entire groups of them at once. |
| 4 |  After getting past the Face Eaters, destroy the big core and drop down towards the Pit Laboratory. In the Pit Laboratory, feel free to save your progress, collect items, and read files before you proceed. |
| 5 |  Once you're ready, exit the Pit Laboratory and head into the Cavern. Continue on the path until you finally arrive at the Purifying Crystal. A cutscene will trigger once you approach it. |
| 6 |  Here you finally meet Mother Miranda and Ethan. Follow Ethan through the Cavern and avoid getting attacked by Face Eaters while escaping Miranda. Once you're out of the Cavern, prepare to fight Mother Miranda just as Ethan did before. |
| 7 |  In the final fight, Rose gains three new powers: dodging, absorbing projectiles, and a massive Megemycete attack. Use these new powers to fight against Mother Miranda. Once you've dealt enough damage, Miranda will start to charge a huge attack. Ethan will lend you his power so you can deal the final blow and end Mother Miranda's terror for good. |
