What are Double Kills?

Multiple Kills in a Short Span

Double Kills are when you eliminate two succeeding enemy players within a short period. The manner of the kill does not matter.

How to Get Double Kills

Play Team Deathmatch, Domination, or Hardpoint

You can get double kills in game modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, or Hardpoint. It's recommended to attempt this on a tight map like Rust, since you'll encounter lots of enemies grouped together.

You'll most likely encounter duos from the same team roaming the maps in these modes, but be careful since it'll be a 2-on-1.

Third Party in Cutthroat

Another way to get double kills would be in Cutthroat, a 3v3v3 mode. In this mode, you can third-party fights between 2 enemy team members and secure the double kill.

Can You Get Double Kills in Private Matches?

You Can't Progress Any Challenges in Private Matches

Double Kills don't count in Private or Custom Matches in Modern Warfare 3, although you're eliminating other real-life players in this mode. You'll have to play public matches in Multiplayer to get Double Kills.
