Season 2 Reloaded launched on March 6, 2024, as indicated by the timer for the Classified Sector of the S2 Battle Pass. This was the case for S1 Reloaded as well, which launched after the classified sector of the S1 Battle Pass unlocked.

Major Zombies S2 Content Drop
One of the more highly anticipated updates in Season 2 Reloaded will be the massive content drop for MW3 Zombies. Initially revealed in the Season 2 Blog Post, the new update promises to deliver more story content, new schematics, as well as a new Dark Aether Rift map.
- New Story Act and Missions: MW3 Zombies continues its story with a brand new act and set of missions for you to complete.
- New Dark Aether Map: A Second Rift has opened up for you to explore. Teleport to a brand new location once the new Zombies update arrives mid-season!
- New Challenges and Schematics: Find and learn the new schematics for Mags of Holding, the Blood Burner Key, and the VR-11 Wonder Weapon.
- Warlord Keres: A new Warlord has appeared in Orlov Military Base. Similar to S1 Reloaded, expect this to replace the current Warlord Dokkaebi during the S2 Reloaded rotation.
Multiplayer Maps and Game Modes
Season 2 Reloaded may also ship with the new mid-season maps and game modes. At the time of writing, Das Haus (6v6) and the 2 new Vortex Maps (Airborne and Skidgrow) are slated to arrive sometime in the middle of the season, possibly during S2 Reloaded.
To complement the new maps, a few new limited-time modes (LTM) are slated for the mid-season. This includes the return of the Vortex: Decay's Realm playlist as well as the introduction of the Juggermosh LTM and Bounty game mode.

S2 Reloaded Events and Store Bundles
Similar to Season 1 Reloaded, the new Season 2 Reloaded is confirmed to have its own set of seasonal events and store bundles. While details are scarce, it is possible that these will be related to Zombies given the current theme of Season 2.

Mid-Season Warzone Features
Given that Season 2 launched with a huge content drop for Warzone, it is only natural that they build on the new content in Season 2 Reloaded. It is highly likely that S2 Reloaded will bring the Research Vessel mobile POI, Bunker Buster Killstreak, and Portable Decontamination Station Field Upgrade to Warzone.
- Research Vessel: A Mobile Point of Interest (POI) that appears off of the coast of Fortune's Keep. The ship will have its own helipad, Ascenders, defenses, and easter egss for players to use and discover.
- Bunker Buster (Killstreak): Lethal Killstreak that can be used to deal with enemies that are camping multi-story building. Explosion hits all floors and the gas column it leaves behind will be poisonous, forcing players out of the building.
- Portable Decontamination Station: Field Upgrade that emits a cloud of chemicals that counteract the corrosive properties of the circle gas, creating a temporary safe zone.
