How to Get Chunks of Flesh
Fulfill Escort Contracts
Chunks of Flesh can easily be obtained by doing Escort contracts. Simply let the ACV crush zombies by luring them right in on the vehicle's path.
This method nets you several Chunks of Flesh without requiring a specific gun or weapon and lets you conserve ammunition.
Kill Zombies with Explosives
An alternate way of getting Chunks of Flesh is to kill zombies with explosive damage. Weapons such as Grenade Launchers and Frag Grenades should do the job, but this requires a specific loadout and you may run out of ammo eventually.

What to Do with Chunks of Flesh
Place Inside a Doghouse
Place a Chunk of Flesh inside a doghouse in order to get a pet Hellhound that will attack enemies and revive you when necessary. Low Threat Zone (grey) requires only 1 Chunk of Flesh to be deposited, the Medium Threat Zone (yellow) requires 2 chunks, and the High Threat Zone (red zone) requires 3 Chunks of Flesh for a friendly dog to spawn.
Used to Obtain Dog Collar Key
Placing a together with a Molotov inside a doghouse, which are scattered all over the map, to spawn a Hellhound. When defeated, the Hellhound will drop a Dog Collar to open the Dark Aether Rift.
What Are Chunks of Flesh?
Used to Get Pet Dog
You can use the Chunks of Flesh to get yourself a pet Hellhound that will support you for the duration of the match. Petting this Hellhound will also get you a hidden trophy/achievement.

Used to Get the Dog Collar Key
Chunks of Flesh are used to get the Dog Collar Key. Together with the Locked Diary, Pill Bottle, and Surveillance Camera, they are used to open the Dark Aether Rift.
Dark Aether Rifts contain valuable loot, but you'll need to overcome some of the toughest challenges and enemies yet.
