Similar Races: Tenno Sho (Autumn)
Course Notes
Soft and Rainy conditions are a first for Champions Meetings. This means you'll need to compensate for the penalty by increasing Power.
Late-race starts on the final corner. Powerful skills include Angling and Scheming, Shooting for Victory!, and Let's Pump Some Iron.
Final straight is late in late-race. Avoid Straightaway Spurt for this race as it will have a diminished effect.
・Uphills and downhills are not ideal for acceleration skills. Avoid Highlander and Straight Descent, as these will have virtually no effect.

Tier List may be subject to changes. Any Umas may succeed in CM due to the randomized nature of matchmaking, Mood factors, positioning, etc.

Pace Chasers are Best

For the Scorpio Cup, we're expecting Pace Chasers to be the best style to run, mostly due to the existence of Runaway Silence Suzuka, who can block Front Runners. Among the Pace Chasers, Taiki Shuttle (with enough Medium sparks) is shaping up to be one of the strongest, thanks to her improved Shooting for Victory! skill. Meisho Doto is also looking like a good pick for Pace.

Front Runners Can be Competitive

In the Japanese version of the Scorpio Cup, Front Runners were the best option since Angling and Scheming is very powerful on this track. Summer Maruzensky, in particular, was the best choice since she could only realistically be blocked by another Summer Maruzensky. However, with Silence Suzuka being able to learn Runaway now, this makes it difficult for them to guarantee the lead at the final corner. In lobbies without Silence Suzuka, expect Front Runners to still be tough competition.

New Late Surgers are Usable

Scorpio Cup is notable for having several Umamusume releases in December that can be good for the track. All of them are best run as Late Surgers, so winning can still be a bit of a gamble. Manhattan Cafe has a speed debuff tied to her unique skill, Kimono Gold City has another final corner acceleration unique skill, which is suitable for the track, and Mejiro Dober has similar strengths to Mejiro Ryan while being able to use All-Seeing Eyes.

Strong Debuffs Available for Use

Scorpio Cup is a Medium Race, so expect to see Debuffers appearing again. Unlike other Medium tracks, this track is shorter at 2,000m, meaning speed debuffs like Dominator could be more impactful. Mystifying Murmur will likely only cripple unprepared opponents, since it should be easier to hit the stamina requirement. Hybrid debuffers that only carry one gold debuff should also be viable here.

850 850 800 800
No Recovery 950 950 900 900

The values above assume 400 Guts.

If you're able to hit 700 Stamina with at least one gold recovery, this should be enough to win some races. However, we recommend aiming for around 800 Stamina due to Mystifying Murmur and All-Seeing Eyes. It's best to learn at least one rare recovery skill to reduce the effectiveness of these debuffs.

For the Runaway style, you need to aim for around 800 Stamina with one recovery skill, assuming your Runaway is the only one on the field. If there's another Runaway, you will need to account for Spot Struggle and ramp up the Stamina requirement significantly, making it impractical to build for.

Best to Train in Unity Cup Scenario

Unity Cup (Aoharu Hai)

The best scenario to train for the Scorpio Cup is the Unity Cup, which was released on November 6, 2025 (UTC). While you can still train in the URA Finale Scenario, the Unity Cup offers higher stats, making it the ideal way to train your aces.

Stats boosted by these Green Skills are hinted at in their skill icons. For example, Right-Handed shows boots, which means it boosts the Speed stat, Firm Conditions buffs Power, and Front Runner Savvy improves Wit. Aim for these skills to further increase your stats. Overall, we recommend going for Left-Handed or Fall Runner to boost Speed.

Mejiro Ryan (Down the Line) Let Let's Pump Some Iron (must be 6th to activate)

As with previous Champions Meetings, acceleration skills that activate as soon as the late-race begins are good. For this race, we want skills that activate on the final corner. Inherited skills that are strong are Angling and Scheming (Front), Shooting for Victory! (Pace), and Let's Pump Some Iron (Late/End). General acceleration skills like No Stopping Me!, Slick Surge and Head-On can also be taken. End Closers can technically use Straightaway Spurt, but the position of the final straight makes it noticeably weaker.

Front Runners will always want strong early-race acceleration to secure the lead. Taking the Lead from the recently released Mihono Bourbon Wit SSR is one of the best options. This can be paired with Groundwork and green skills. Having the skill Concentration/Focus is also good to reduce the effects of Late Starts. Combining early-race positioning skills like Dodging Danger and Prudent Positioning is also good for getting ahead, if you can learn both.

Scorpio Cup Blue Skills

Blue Skills
Moxie Icon Moxie / Restless Icon Restless (Front)
Hydrate Icon Hydrate / Gourmand Icon Gourmand (Pace)

We recommend learning at least one rare recovery skill to safeguard against debuffers or getting rushed. It's possible to win without learning recovery skills if you get more Stamina, but it's best to be safe. Trainees with a recovery unique like U=ma2 for Agnes Tachyon don't need to learn another one and can free up a support card slot. However, we don't recommend passing down these uniques as they have a reduced effect.

Scorpio Cup Red Skills

Red Skills

Since the Scorpio Cup is on the shorter end of Medium races, it's more likely your rivals will have built their aces with enough Stamina. Dominator and the Hesitant debuffs are harder to guard against, since you can't overcome them with stats alone. You can still run Mystifying Murmur and All-Seeing Eyes to hit unprepared racers and ensure your own aces win.

This time around, you can focus on maximizing Speed and Stamina while maintaining a good amount of Power.

If training under Unity Cup, we highly recommend bringing at least 2 maxed-out Wit cards and at least 2 strong Speed cards. We also suggest adding a card with a gold recovery skill if your trainee doesn't have a good one already. Rice Shower SSR is the best option to raise both Power and Stamina.

Above are sample deck setups you can try for training your Umamusume for Scorpio Cup. Remember to swap cards if they conflict with your trainee, and note that the randomized nature of Career runs means you'll have to make multiple runs until you get a desirable career result.

Rice Shower SSR can be replaced if your racer already has a rare recovery skill or unique (such as Agnes Tachyon's U=ma2). You can also replace it with another card that provides a rare recovery skill like Super Creek SSR. However, it's the best option as it has Stamina Bonus and increases both Stamina and Power. Riko Kashimoto SSR can also be substituted with other cards like the maxed out R version or other card types if you're having trouble hitting stat goals.

Also aim to hit at least 34 race bonus, as this maximizes stat gains during career races. If you can't hit this, try to use high or max uncapped cards instead, as these will provide better stats overall.
