Ranked Play for Season 1 is Now Live!

Season 1 Ranked Play is now live after a delay that spanned a little over 24 hours since Season 1 Reloaded launched. Players will now be able to queue up for the new game mode and obtain their Skill Divisions as of January 18, 2024 at 10:31 AM PT.

What is Ranked Play?

Competitive Mode with Skill Divisions

Ranked Play is the official competitive mode of Modern Warfare 3 (MW3). Similar to MMR-based matchmaking employed by other live-service shooters, Ranked Play employs a Skill Rating (SR) system where you need to raise your SR to advance to higher Skill Divisions.

Since this is the first MW3 Season, all players will start in the Bronze 1 Skill Division. Win matches to raise your SR and advance through the ranks. Each Skill Division you end up in will entitle you to exclusive rewards at the end of the season.
