MTZ-556 Hybrid (Default) |
Good for stealth and covert playthrough. Has decent range and can be used in close-range as well. |
Rival-9 (Default) |
Best for close-range stealth gameplay. Great back-up when the MTZ-556 ran out of ammo or if you have to reload. |
Lockwood 680 (Optional) |
Great for close-range gunfights, especially after the part when you first meet Makarov. It's also good for clearing those tight corners inside the prison. |
Operation 627 Mission Walkthrough
Guns / Weapons | Explanation |

Silenced WSP Swarm | Great starting weapon. Good range and has a silencer that can help with stealth playthrough. |
Silenced ISO Hemlock | Get this Assault Rifle to help you with stealth playthrough. |
Any LMG | You can get any LMG, like the Icarus 556. It will help you fight the large number of enemies at the final stretch. |
Precious Cargo - All Weapon Locations

Hybrid M4 (Default) |
Great starting weapon. Decent at long-range gunfights and excels at mid-range encounters. |
RGL-80 | Good for taking out crowds and vehicle-mounted enemies. Can be used at the end to clear out the far away enemies. |
RPG-7 | Can destroy the helicopters in the first part from a distance. |
PILA (Optional) |
Best to grab this to take out the chopper that joins the battle. |
Any Shotgun (Optional) |
A shotgun can save you once the enemies start swarming you in one place. You can get one from killed enemies, but you can also try getting the ones from supply boxes. |
Reactor - All Weapon Locations

EBR-14 (Default) |
Best for long-range stealth gameplay. Can take out two enemies with one bullet if they lined up. |
RPK | Can help take out a lot of enemies as one because of the magazine size. Good for taking out the heavily armored enemies at the end as well. |
Kastov 545 | Best for mid to long-range gunfights. Can be used for more aggressive approach, especially at the last stretch. |
Expedite 12 (Optional) |
Best for close-range encounters. Can help you progress faster inside the facility, and good for shredding the heavily armored enemies near the end. |

Incendiary RAAL MG | Best for an aggressive approach and fighting multiple enemies at once as it has large magazine size. It also has a thermal sight, making it easy to spot enemies in the dark. |
Silenced Victus XMR | Best for stealth playthrough. It has a thermal sight and a silencer that can help you take out enemies quietly from afar. |

Best for any situation except for long-range gunfights. You can opt for a stealth playthrough or straightforward approach on this mission with this mission. |
Silenced COR-46 (Default) |
Good secondary weapon for stealth playthrough. Since it's light, it can give you the mobility you need to quickly move between areas. |
STB 556 | Balanced AR that excels at mid-range encounters. Good for taking a more straightforward approach to the mission. |
Silenced Bryson 800 | Good close-range stealth weapon. Can be used for aggressive playthrough as well as it can one shot all enemies, except for the armored ones. |
Explosive KATT-AMR | Can quickly remove armor from an enemy because of it's firepower. Great for long-range enemy eliminations. |

Any LMG | LMGs can easily take out heavily armored enemies, especially at the end. You can get one, Holger 26, near the extraction point. |
Fennec 45 | Best for a head-on approach. It gives the best mobility and quick reload speed, among other weapons. |
