This is a guide on how to get curses removed in Shin Megami Tensei III HD Remaster (SMT Nocturne) for the Switch, PS4, and Steam! If you want to learn more about curses, how they are inflicted, and how to remove them, then read on!
A curse is a debuff applied to the Demi-Fiend that negatively affects his stats, even while outside of combat.
Curses occur when the Demi-Fiend's Magatama starts acting violently when levelling up.
When this happens, different outcomes may occur. The Demi-Fiend could either fully recover from his wounds, gain a bonus stat point for a random stat, or get cursed.
If the Demi-Fiend gets cursed, it will remain as a debuff until it is cured.
Curses can be removed by visiting a Fountain of Life. Their doors are marked by a glowing green, circular symbol.
Discovered Fountains of Life are marked by the icon above, showing up on the player's minimap after having entered them at least once.
Once inside, players need to speak to the Lady of the Fount. She will offer to remove the curse from the Demi-Fiend when the player chooses the Remove Curse option.
At the hefty cost of Macca, the Lady of the Fount will completely restore your character or your demon's HP and MP to full!
