List of Contents
To talk to a demon during combat, players must navigate to the Talk tab to view the different conversation skills each party member has.
The Demi-Fiend always has the ability to talk to enemy demons. Allied demons on the other hand, must either possess, inherit, or attain a conversation skill before they can begin talking to enemy demons.
Once on the Talk tab, it is as simple as selecting the conversation skill in order to talk to demons.
In some cases, enemies or allies will initiate conversation with the player without prompting. Usually it is to offer players either items or their allegiance.
When the Kagutsuchi on the top left of the screen is in its Full Phase, demons will start to act more aggressive.
If players try to initiate conversation in combat during this phase, they will simply be rebuffed by the demon.
Demons of certain races will outright refuse to talk, let alone negotiate when spoken to in combat. Take note of these races when choosing the talk option, as this only wastes the player's turn.
To easily find out the race of an enemy demon, hover the select cursor over them during combat and their race is the first thing that appears to the left of their name.
