Murakumo is a full-on support Magatama. The skills you can learn through this Magatama are all supplemental and enhance your Demi-Fiend very nicely, especially if you're an all Physical build player.
Ailments are all rendered Null if you master this Magatama. This comes extremely handy for players of any build, but is essential for Physical build players, as it nullifies Poison (which drastically weakens your physical attacks) and other status ailments that hinder you from hitting hard.
These nullification passives are best partnered with other builds, especially with skills from Gaea.
Being immune to ailments has its own drawbacks, as this Magatama makes you more susceptible to Fire and Ice attacks. You could make yourself immune to the elements as well (through Null: Fire or Null: Ice), but this eats up skill space.
So the next best thing is to focus attacks on enemies that have strong Fire or Ice attacks, like Glacial Blast or Magma Axis.
