Strengths and Weaknesses

Weaknesses

Weaknesses
None, but party buffs will go a long way.

Beelzebub has no weaknesses. In fact, he is resistant to a lot of types of Magic as well as to Phys attacks. However, buffing your party will go a long way as he rarely negates them.

Strengths

Attacks Almighty, Elec, Force, Phys
Reflect Light and Dark
Void Ailments
Support Focus and Dekaja

The only single target skill of Beelzebub is his Normal Phys Attack. Everything else, from Almighty to Magic damage will target the entire party. It is recommended to bring demons that can Absorb, Null, or Repel his attacks in order to cut short his turns. Almighty cannot be blocked so bringing along a healer would be more beneficial then investing in Magic Block spells or items.

Beelzebub, at some point during the fight, will always use a death spell called Death Flies. This spell will kill anyone (including the Demi-fiend) without immunity from either Light or Dark. Make sure that when building a team to fight Beelzebub, you take into account Light and Dark resistances.

Finally, it is only in the latter stages of the fight that Beelzebub will use his support skill, Dekaja, so make sure to buff your party as much as you can during the early stages to take advantage of this lapse.

How to Beat Beelzebub

Summon Demons with At Least 20 Vit and 25 Mag or 25 Str Stats

Players and their demons will need a lot of HP to mitigate Beelzebub's severe damage output from both his Almighty and Magic attacks. Both variations will always target the entire party, making healing inefficient. Make sure summon demons with at least 20 Vit.

Beelzebub is also highly resistant to Phys and Magic, ensuring that players will need at least 25 Mag or Str on their demons in order to deal sufficient damage throughout the fight.

Equip Your Party with Reflect or Void Death

Death Flies Skill

Dealing damage to a resistant boss is only half the battle. Midway through the fight, Beelzebub will use an ability called Death Flies which will insta-kill any combatant without a resistance to Light or Dark.

For the Demi-fiend, equip the appropriate Magatama that has either Null Light or Dark (either will work). For demons, make sure to summon those that have either Repel or Null Light/Dark.

Summon Red Rider

The Fiend, Red Rider, can block 3 attack types that Beelzebub uses (Elec, Force, and Dark). Since all of Beelzebub's spells target the entire party, having Red Rider is valuable for cutting off Beelzebub’s turns.

Summon Mother Harlot

Mother Harlot

Mother Harlot can block 3 attack types that Beelzebub uses (Normal Attack Phys, Dark, and Elec). She is also highly valuable for cutting off Beelzebub’s turns.

Get comfortable buffing your attacks at the beginning of battle

Party Buffs Tarukaja

Unlike other bosses that have Dekaja, Beelzebub will not use the skill until much later into the fight. This means that buffing will not be a waste of time.

Make sure you get comfortable with using buffs, especially in the very first few turns, in order to maximize your damage output until the end.

Bring a Healer with a Heal All Skill

Dedicated Healer Mediarama

Due to the nature of Beelzebub's attacks, it is beneficial and economical to have at least 1 demon with a heal-all skill like Mediarama or Mediarahan for when your party gets too low.

Rather than waste turns healing each member one by one, heal-alls will only use one Press Turn.

Yeah, this guide is wrong... Same thing happened to me 🙄

This guide has two MAJOR errors: 1. It is nowhere mentioned that he has DEKUNDA as well as Dekaja 2. You need a magatama that nulls DEATH, not light. Because they say here you need both, that would exclude all Null Death ones because they are weak to light... Then you equip a Null Light one thinking you are safe and gets destroyed by Death Flies... Smh
