The Aether Shroud field upgrade allows you to become invisible against zombies in Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3). Read on to learn how to get and use the Aether Shroud field upgrade!
Upon reaching Level 39, the Aether Shroud field upgrade is unlocked. Once you reach this level requirement, you can equip it from the Gear or Loadout menu under the Field Upgrade slot.
You can earn xp fast by hopping into Zombies matches and start completing contracts, racking up a lot of zombie kills, and successfully exfiling with a lot of items marked with the Essence currency, as these items get converted into XP if you exfil with them.
Activating Aether Shroud makes you invisible to zombies for 5 seconds, granting you the freedom to engage zombies or explore without drawing the attention of nearby zombies.
The Aether Shroud has a cooldown upon each use, but you can recharge it quicker by killing zombies. You'll find the cooldown timer on the bottom right of corner your screen, the circular icon with a green meter right above the weapon and lethal equipment icons.
