Refined Aetherium Crystals can be obtained by completing contracts or crafting it through schematics in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Zombies mode. Read on to learn how to get Refined Aetherium Crystals!

Refined Aetherium Crystals can be obtained from Reward Rifts after completing a contract. Based from our own testing, we managed to get 1 Refined Aetherium Crystal after doing 248 contracts in the Low Threat Zone.
The type of contract that we got the crystal from was the Defend Ground Station.
Completing the Same Day Deliver Mission will reward you with a free Refined Aetherium Crystal. You can get this mission once you reach Tier 1 of Act 2.
Zombies Acts and Mission Rewards
You can get a Refined Aetherium Crystal by crafting it if you have the Schematics unlocked. This schematic can be obtained by finding and exfiltrating with the Refined Aetherium Crystal Schematics.
If you don't have the crafting schematics available, you can ask a fellow squad member who has it to craft one and drop it for you.
How to Get All Crafting Schematics
Consuming a Refined Aetherium Crystal lets you upgrade the weapon you're currently holding to Pack-a-Punch Level 2. This lets you save up 10,000 Essence and skips the long process of having to farm up for all those Essence.
