Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) has several easter eggs and secrets waiting to be discovered. Read on to learn all the easter eggs and secrets found across the Urzikstan map in Zombies mode!

Portals are fast travel points located all across Urzikstan that will teleport you to different locations and points-of-interests (POIs). You will need to input their codes by shooting the symbols in a certain order to activate them.

The Locked Vault contains Aether and several loot caches that reward players with random extra loot. The vault is located underground near the Shahin Manor at the bottom right of the map, and the only way to get there is by using the lift passage on the first floor of the manor.
There are 3 Mercenary Chess Piece bosses, namely the Bishop, Knight, and Rook, and each one of them will drop a Transmission upon getting killed which are used to open the Locked Vault.
The fourth transmission, the Pawn, has no boss and you'll simply have to collect the Transmission at its set location.
Surprisingly, there are a lot of bunkers located around the map that are inaccessible and completely sealed off from players. There is currently no way of opening them and no form of interaction is present on them.
It's possible that these bunkers may play a vital role in a future update. Until then, it's considered an easter egg due to how suspicious-looking they are.
Audio Logs are found hidden in locations that you least expect them to be, like rooftops or on top of a bed inside a random building. Once you play the audio logs, you'll hear voice-taped recordings of different soldiers and survivors on their experiences of the zombie outbreak.
It is unknown as to what purpose these audio logs are, but we speculate that they might be the background story of Zombies mode.
