Exfil locations are marked with a person stepping out of a door in Zombies mode of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (MW3). Read on to learn where to find the Exfils, how to call for extraction, and what the rewards are.

How to Exfil

Call for Extraction

Modern Warfare 3 - Exfil Inbound
You can Exfil and call for an extraction by going to the blue exit icons scattered across the map, which are the areas with green smoke coming from the ground. Approach the green smoke and call for the helicopter to start the extraction. After calling for an extraction, you need to wait for a minute before it arrives.

35 Seconds Before it Leaves

Modern Warfare 3 - 35 Seconds
Keep in mind that upon its arrival, you only have 35 seconds to get on the helicopter, or it will leave without you.

Successful Exfil Rewards

Allows You to Save Your Weapon

Modern Warfare 3 - Weapons
If you successfully Exfil, you will be able to save the weapons that you currently have equipped. These weapons will be available in the Loadout screen, which you can equip again before starting the game.

You Get Bonus XP

Modern Warfare 3 - Extracted Bonus
You get a 1,000 XP bonus if you are able to successfully Exfil, on top of the XP that you get from Mercenary Kills, Zombie Kills, Contracts, and Loot Containers Opened. In addition to that, the Essence Value that you are carrying will automatically be extracted and converted to bonus XP.
