Payload is a campaign mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3). Read on for a complete walkthrough of Payload including tips for beating the mission and rewards.

| 1 |  Using the Scout Drone, locate the officer wearing a red beret. He should be in one of the steel buildings, north of the silo's entry point. |

| 2 |  Before making your way towards the base, take out as many enemies as you can from long-range with your silenced EBR-14 marksman rifle. You can use the Scout Drone again to locate and mark targets. Do take note that once your position has been compromised, enemies will start pushing towards your location. |
| 3 |  If you plan on taking the stealth route, you can take the dirt path on the left that leads up to a broken wall that you can use to enter the base. |
| 4 |  Along the way, you'll encounter two guards by the white SUV, and another two by the entrance of the broken wall. Take them out with your suppressed weapons quickly so as not to give them time to retaliate and fire back at you. |
| 5 |  Once inside, quietly kill the guard near the tanks, then enter through another broken wall near the shed. Hide and go prone by the truck and wait for the patrolling guards to walk past you. |
| 6 |  Afterwards, go to the small hill by the bunker-shaped entrance and snipe down the guard on the rooftop. This should make sneaking around easier since the guard on the roof has a clear view of the whole base. |
| 7 |  Keep hugging the wall as you make your way towards the missile silo hatch. Kill the three guards by the vehicle and then enter the steel building beside it. You can also kill the guards at the center building so that you can proceed to the silo's entrance later on without running into any trouble. |
| 8 |  Search the steel building for the officer with the red beret. Take him out and retrieve the keycard from him. |
| 9 |  Make your way to the entrance of the Silo and use the keycard to enter it. |
| 10 |  Once inside, descend down the elevator shaft using the rope. |
| 11 |  Proceed down the hallway until you reach the control room. Wait for Farah to take out the guards and open the door for you. |
| 12 |  Fight your way through the control room. A shotgun is recommended to use here since it's mostly close-quarters combat. You can find an Expedite 12 shotgun on a desk to your left before entering the room. |
| 13 |  Once you're in the missile room, disarm the missiles using the control box. You can find it on top of a crate right beside Farah. |
| 14 |  You'll then have to escape the facility within 3 minutes. Wait for the blast doors to open and be prepared to fight your way through hordes of enemy soldiers and a juggernaut. You can swiftly kill the juggernaut by stunning and blinding him with a flashbang first, after which you can proceed to shooting him at the head. |
| 15 |  Use the Ascender to reach the surface and make your way to the central control tower. Inside the tower, interact with the lever to close the silo hatch and prevent the missiles from launching up into the airspace. Keep in mind that the 3-minute timer is still ticking so be sure to make haste! |
