Modern Warfare 3 New Guns

Modern Warfare 3 added a total of 42 new guns; 37 guns and weapons were available on launch, while 5 more guns were added during Season 1.

Modern Warfare 3 - Carry Forward

With the new Carry Forward feature that allows players to transfer MW2 guns over to MW3, the overall pool of weapons comes to a total of about 100.

In addition, some MW2 guns can be unlocked in MW3 by completing separate challenges. Although some MW2 guns may not be available to unlock in MW3, meaning they'll only be obtainable by progressing them in MW2.
